Will Young, a 23-year-old farmer from Buckinghamshire, will appear on the 2023 edition of Love Island UK, scheduled to air on Monday, January 16, 2023. Young, who enjoys being close to nature , is set to appear on a reality dating show in search of her true love. He is also a popular figure on TikTok, where he creates videos about rural life and his life as a farmer.
Will Young will join nine other islanders who will be paired up to compete with other contestants to bond and find love. The show will also have a new presenter. TV and radio host Maya Jama will replace former Love Island host Laura Whitmore. Consider the following islanders:

Will Young, as mentioned before, is a farmer from Buckinghamshire who appears on social media as Farmer Will. He has a huge following on social media showing everyone his farming life on his million pound land. He’s been making movies about everything from feeding pigs to shearing sheep since 2019. Young also appeared in a commercial for Head and Shoulders alongside TV personality Claudia Winkman.
Young claims that he is attracted to a person’s energy and that if that energy exists, his potential partner can achieve anything she desires. He said as long as she respects what he does and his “busy time of year”, then he will be fine.
“That’s all I need. If he likes it, all the better! But it’s not a big deal to me.”
He also said that growing up on a farm made it difficult for him to balance relationships and work. Young said Love Island will allow him to go out alone, leave the farm and find love. He says he believes he’s at a stage in his life where he’s mature enough to find a bride.
Will Young admires Sir David Attenborough and says he wants to see him play himself in a movie. He explains this:

According to Will Young, fans don’t have to worry about a lack of agricultural knowledge when dating him. He said that his mother did not set foot on the farm in the first 20 years of their marriage. Potential suitors should know that Will enjoys meditation after learning about it the day before. Will said he meditates for 20-25 minutes every night after trying it after his wife advised him to do so. He said that although he no longer sees the girl, he likes the way meditation makes him feel and continues to practice it. Will believes that meditation is a great approach to introspection and time for yourself. The Love Island contestant claims that nightly meditation helps him sleep better.

Other participants include Haris Namani, Olivia Hawkins, Shaq Muhammad, Tanyel Revan, Kai Fagan, Anna-May Robey, Ron Hall, Lana Jenkins and Tanya Mantegna, along with Will Young. Love Island singles will be moving into a new home in Franschhoek Winelands, near Cape Town, South Africa. This season, as mentioned, will feature a new host, Maya Jama. The Love Island contestants are on a wild ride, especially with new regulations banning them from using their social media accounts while on the show.
But before the show actually aired, the show’s creators introduced a new twist. Viewers will vote for the first bomb to join the mansion for the first time in the show’s history. Ellie, a business professional, and Tom, a football player from Barnsley, are two new bombs about to appear. Voting will be available through the Love Island app and will end on Friday, January 13 at 9pm, with the person with the most votes able to enter the mansion.
