After splitting twice in the previous two years, The Bachelor alumni Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan have said they will continue their romance. The couple began dating in April 2020, shortly after his engagement to Hannah Ann Sluss ended, but split before the end of the year. They temporarily reunite in early 2021 before ending in February next year, on Valentine’s Day. The couple were spotted together in Chicago in August 2022, sparking speculation about a reconciliation.
Peter opened up about his relationship with Kelley in an interview with US Weekly, saying:
“We’re definitely going to keep things a little more secret this time around because we have a luxury that we didn’t have last time.” And it’s really unforgettable. I believe we both like the way things turn out the second time around and everything happens for a reason. And I can say I’m delighted.”

The couple met on the 24th season of The Bachelor, where Peter Weber starred. Though their romance started off well, it didn’t last long when he sent her home on the seventh week when things didn’t go well between them. Peter was later engaged to Hannah Ann, but cut it off because he had a crush on Madison Prewett at the time. He and Madison split two days after the finale, and two weeks later he was seen with Kelley in Chicago. According to US Weekly, the two started dating at the end of April 2020, and Peter became Instagram official with her the following month. Over the next six months, the couple spent precious time with each other’s families.
In December 2020, Peter revealed to the magazine that they had broken up and were “operating on two separate frequencies, one no better nor worse than the other”, adding that after 8 months of dating, there were some disagreements. Kelley announced on the Off The Vine podcast in March 2021 that the two have temporarily become close, but will soon part ways.
“For my part, there’s a lot of non-negotiables about the relationship that they’re really trying or claiming to be trying or changing, and actions mean more than words.”
She continued:
“If I witness something disrespectful in a relationship, I speak up and I’ve pretty much talked about it.” It’s no big deal. It’s comfortable in the context of a relationship. It was great, despite a lot of small flaws.”
In August 2022, the couple were spotted together traveling to Chicago, where they attended Bachelor Nation events. On September 26, 2022, US Weekly revealed that Peter and Kelley were “back together”. In December 2022, the Bachelor couple held their first joint interview in which they discussed their relationship. While Kelley battled Lyme disease, they walked the red carpet for their first official comeback at the Global Lyme Alliance Gala in October 2022.
She informed the newspaper of her current situation:
“I’m fine, I’ve been feeling better lately.” I’ve had some downsides, but overall, I feel like I’m a lot better than last year.”
Kelley also mentioned that she won’t be spending the holiday with Peter because her 85-year-old father has serious health problems. However, she said the former single understands her situation and accepts her choice.
For her part, Kelley discussed the relationship and stated:
“I’m satisfied – I’m really satisfied.” We agree and communicate.”
Peter also notes that their connection this time is different and better than on the ABC show. He added that the show took a toll on him, and now that the complications are gone, the pair feel much more comfortable exploring their relationship.
