Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert, both from The Bachelor, are set to get married. The couple started planning the wedding after getting engaged in October during a trip to the Galapagos Islands. However, they eventually revealed the information. Caelynn discussed her engagement to Dean in an interview with Us Weekly’s Here for the Right Reasons podcast. She stated:
“I still remember when I knew he was the only one and when I knew we were going to get married. I believe we kept talking about it and I kept joking about it. And I believe the more I scoffed at that thing. the more he thought, ‘OK, maybe I can get married.'”
Caelynn went on to say that she doesn’t know when they realized they wanted to get married. The recent graduate also said that she does not know when she and Dean will propose and get married. She added that she wanted to take things slow and enjoy the time. Caelynn also revealed that she wanted to wear a dress before getting engaged, but her friend told her to give up on that and enjoy the engagement process instead. She and Dean began planning the wedding when they were officially engaged.

Caelynn said that she and Dean are in the “happy engagement” stage and have started looking for places. She said that the couple plan to get married in Aspen, saying:
“We want all our friends there, so we’re getting married in Aspen. But then I thought, ‘Bam, maybe here.’ And he said, ‘I’ve made up my mind’, and when he’s made up his mind, you can’t talk to him.
Additionally, The Bachelor alumni added:
And I said, ‘Don’t you realize that the wedding process is full of choices and changes, so I should just ignore you?’ And he said, ‘I’m not sure.’ So we’ll see what happens.”
Caelynn went on to say that she picked out her engagement dress and started looking for wedding clothes. She said she wanted two outfits for her wedding. “I’m not surprised”: Caelynn says she knew Dean was going to propose. Caelynn and Dean got married in October 2022. Dean’s proposal didn’t surprise her, she said in an interview with Hollywood Life, but the setting is:
“I’m not surprised by the engagement, but I’m surprised where it happened.”
Dean proposed after the couple dated for almost three years. Dean and Caelynn continued to date on ABC’s Bachelor in Paradise. She said she started preparing for the wedding when they arrived in the Galapagos:
“I love planning. It’s my absolute favorite thing in the entire universe. We have six flights to the Galapagos this week, so I have plenty of time and a lot of preparation.”
According to Hollywood Life, The Bachelor alumnus claims that she and Dean originally planned an idyllic Italian wedding with their families. Now they have changed their mind and decided to choose Aspen as the final venue for their wedding.
