I have directed four short films. When I did the first short film I didn’t know I was interested in it. Its name was ‘Paka’. It was a complete failure. A film festival was going on in Kannur. Next day I was preparing for a short film when I came to know that a short film competition was going on there. Within two hours, the screenwriting, casting, and shooting were all submitted for the competition. Since it was the time of studying journalism, it was not difficult to get a camera. I didn’t know that a short film would be shown there. When that work was screened I was not at all satisfied with it because it was suddenly stolen. Whoever saw it said the same thing. There is an element somewhere. But that means something is missing. It was just a joke and it didn’t fit into the cinematic rhythm.”

He has also worked as a dubbing artist in Malayalam films such as ‘Sadanante Samay’ (2003), ‘Madhuchandralekha’ (2006) and ‘Chilappol Penkutty’ (2019).

On 1 June 2020, he started working as a content writer at Deccan Chronicle in Ernakulam district, Kerala. She has also worked as a model in various print advertisements such as Swayamvar Silks India and Mahadevan Thampi.

Chakkappazham is undoubtedly the best thing that happened to me in 2020. I have always dreamed of becoming a famous actress and I was struggling for more than 6 years for an opportunity. There were many instances when I felt disappointed after facing criticism from people around me. I also decided to accept defeat. But, my father had faith in me and kept pushing me forward. - Shruti has got two tattoos inked on her body. His first tattoo is of a butterfly on his neck, and his second tattoo is on his right arm. While talking about his second tattoo during an interview, he said,
The happy thing is that I have designed this tattoo myself. I always wanted my tattoo to be connected to my life. It’s a combination of so many special things to my life. This is also inspired by a Chinese concept. It has heart shapes and life lines connecting each design. It has some Roman numerals that are close to my heart. The main attraction is a pen, many people don’t know that I would like to write a lot. The tattoo depicts peace, harmony, love. In short, it is a code for all the secrets of my life.

- She is an ardent devotee of Lord Krishna. Talking about this in an interview he said,
As an Ambalappuzha woman, I am also a devotee of Unnikannan. If anything happens, first say ‘My Krishna’ on your tongue. He has been closely associated with Kannan and Ambalapuzha temples since childhood. There is a temple of Dharma Sanstha next to my house. The temple is beyond a wall. Why do I also go there? Krishna is the God who is closest to the heart. I am a little religious. He goes to temples and churches. There is no blind faith in anything. But the positive energy I get from churches is very important to me.
