Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams announced their wedding date is August 20, 2022. Sunstone Winery in California celebrated their wedding. The celebration was attended by relatives and friends of the couple, as well as Sarah’s co-stars Nolan Gould, Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams are said to have started dating in 2017. The latter proposed to Hyland in July 2019 and although they were supposed to get married next year, they had to postpone their wedding due to Covid-19 restrictions. Adams and Hyland met on social media and didn’t make their relationship public until 2017. Hyland had a crush on Adams, who was trying to impress JoJo Fletcher on The Bachelorette 2016.
The duo were seen in Stranger Things costumes for Halloween 2017 and captured their best moments on Snapchat and Instagram. When asked about their wedding plans last year, Adams revealed that they planned to exchange their vows in 2022 and that they could head to Vegas or the courtroom if something like the COVID-19 outbreak recurs. In an interview with People, Hyland said:
“We are pragmatists. We share ownership of the house. We raise dogs together and have enjoyed the adventure of this life together for more than five years. So I don’t think much will change.”
Sarah said she hopes the wedding will go one step at a time and is excited to start a family of her own.

She began dating former actor Matt Prokop in 2010. After Prokop was accused of physical and verbal abuse of Hyland, her ex was granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order in 2014. From 2015 to 2017, Prokop dated actor and model Dominic Sherwood. Sarah Hyland appeared in films such as Private Parts, Blind Date, Scary Movie 5, See You in Valhalla, The Wedding Year… She is famous for her role as Haley Dunphy in the popular comedy Modern Family.
Wells Adams’ name has never been linked to another and is best known for his association with Hyland. He debuted on season 12 of The Bachelorette and was eliminated in week six. Adams had previously been on the third season of Bachelor in Paradise and was eliminated in week six. He reappeared as the hotel’s bartender for the next three seasons.
