Stéphanie Frappart (born 14 December 1983) is a French football referee. She has been on FIFA’s list of international referees since 2009 and has officiated many top-notch matches. In 2019, she became the first woman to referee a major European men’s match and a French Ligue 1 match. In 2020, she will be the first woman to referee a UEFA Champions League match. Frappart is the first woman to officiate a qualifying match for the 2021 FIFA Men’s World Cup. She is one of three women selected to referee the 2022 FIFA Men’s World Cup.
