Brady Ebert A Founding Member Of Turnstile Has Left The Band

Turnstile informed followers of the decision via an Instagram story on Friday, August 12, writing: “Turnstile and guitarist Brady Ebert have broken up.” We appreciate the time we spend together. Our love for him continues and we wish him nothing but the best in the future.”

Ebert did not say anything about leaving his organization. No additional information is currently available. Turnstile was in the news ahead of a fall tour in the US with Snail Mail and JPEGMAFIA. On August 4, several media outlets reported that Turnstile’s percussionist Daniel Fang had filed for an injunction against Ebert. With that said, many are speculating that Ebert’s departure may be command-related.

On August 11, a hearing was held for Fang’s peace order against Brady Ebert.

When someone is accused of sexually abusing, stalking, harassing, or destroying another person’s property, a peace order is issued. Two hearings were held this month on Fang’s peace order. If approved, this order will prevent Ebert from communicating with, abusing, or accessing Fang. However, this order has been cancelled. Lambgoat referred to the latest hearing on August 11 in the Maryland District Court, when it was clearly stated that there was no legal basis for the relief. The ruling stated that there was not enough evidence to carry out the order and that it was beyond the control of the law.

Brady Ebert is one of the founders of Turnstile, founded in 2010.

Brady Ebert and singer Brendan Yates started Turnstile in 2010. Later, bassist and singer Franz Lyons, drummer Daniel Fang and guitarist Sean Cullen joined the band. Pat McCrory finished when Cullen left in 2015. Ebert contributed to the band’s three studio albums: Nonstop Feeling (2016), Time and Space (2018), and Glow On (2021).

Glow On, Turnstile’s latest album, was released in August 2021. Glow On is the band’s first discography featuring featured artist, Blood Orange, a British singer/songwriter and producer.
