from start to finish chainsaw man In season 1, Danji sees a mysterious door warning him not to open it. Of course, the door also becomes a recurring theme beyond his vision, the opening of which is tied to the tragic deaths of Aki and Bauer. But the door in his vision is actually a mental obstacle, preventing him from recalling his most tragic memory, the fact that he killed his father. Seeing what’s behind this door at the end of the first season is one of the many things that knocks him down and forces him to become Makima’s dog, but before that, it’s also one of the biggest mysteries in the comics. Now, season two seems to be introducing its own version of this mystery.

In Chapter 110, Asa has a nightmare when she gets lost in a dark alley full of dead chickens. She tried to avoid stepping on the chickens, but as she walked down the alley into complete darkness, the chickens increased in number. The chickens could represent her guilt over killing the class mascot, Bucky. But when she was about to reach the end of the alley and look at something obscured by darkness, she awoke. Like every time Danji has a nightmare, he wakes up before he can even open the door. As if to remind fans of Denji’s door, Fujimoto shows Azo opening a door at the end of the chapter with no immediate tragic consequences.

Given how chickens spawn as she goes further down the alley, the darkness Asha enters may represent her repressed memory of her last sin, much like Danji’s door. Given that both her parents were killed by demonic attacks, she may be suppressing the memory that she was partly responsible for their deaths. Or, given that she and Warmon now share a body, it could even be a memory of a Warlord that she doesn’t want Asha to see, since the night is actually half her darkness and the darkness shrouds the end of the alley. It will also be interesting to see if tragic events happen in the alleys outside of her dreams, like how Denji’s door turned tragic.

Regardless of what’s at the end of the alley, the resemblance to Denji’s door in the first part is pretty obvious. It remains to be seen whether this dream of this alley will come to life, but if chainsaw man Author Tatsuki Fujimoto never returned. There is a new version of Denji’s Door in season two and both are related chainsaw manThe closer relationship between the two main characters also brings a new mystery for fans to speculate and deduce.
