Cha Eun-woo will be back with a new drama and fans are getting excited. On September 5, it was announced that Cha Eun-woo will star in the upcoming drama A Good Day to be a Dog, which is still in title and unfinished. Filming of A Good Day to Be a Dog is expected to begin in October. The film is based on the webtoon of the same name and features a fantasy romance-comedy in which a woman, Han Hae-na, turns into a dog every time she kisses a guy. However, this is not the only turning point in her story. Surprisingly, the only way to break her curse is to kiss a guy who is truly afraid of dogs. Cha Eun Woo is expected to play the guy who saves her from the curse.

Cha Eun-woo will play Jin Seo-won, the male lead who is afraid of dogs because of a tragic past experience he doesn’t remember. Jin Seo-won has spent his life hiding his sadness behind a calm and aloof attitude. However, his life changes when he meets the heroine. An important part of the plot will likely focus on Jin Seo’s relationship with the heroine, whose curse turns her into a dog when she kisses a man. Fans can’t wait to see how Chao’s character Eun will break her love curse.

The ASTRO member resembles the webtoon uncanny, and according to fans of the K-pop singer, that’s a sign of a great cast. Korean drama fans missed seeing the actor on television and were overjoyed to see him back in the lead role. The singer recently appeared as Lee Su-ho in the drama True Beauty, alongside Moon Ga-young and Hwang In-yeop. He plays an attractive “tsundere” who is good at everything but lonely at heart. He falls in love with Im Ju-kyung, a “true beauty” who helped him overcome his past heartbreak. The ASTRO star has also signed on to star in the fantasy action film Island, which is set in Jeju Island and follows three people tasked with fighting against an evil entity that is trying to destroy the world. The Island, slated to premiere in 2023, will star Cha Eun-woo, Kim Nam-gil, Lee Da-hee, and Sung Joon.

The True Beauty singer has completed a solo fan tour spanning Asia. The fan meeting “2022 Just One 10 Minute ‘Starry Caravan'” ended on September 3 in Seoul. He sang his best solo songs, including First Love, Love So Fine, Aloha, Focus On Me, Don’t Cry My Love and Finally, When You’re Gone, which he streamed forward to the audience.
