Kavan Glover, the 26-year-old son of rapper and actor Anwan Glover, was killed last weekend in Washington. The shooting happened in the 12800 block of William Beans Road, where Kavan was found with gunshot wounds. He was presumed dead at the scene, and although his identity was not determined at first, it was later revealed that he was Anwan’s son. Detectives are offering a $25,000 reward to anyone with information on the suspect. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the incident.

Glover played Slim Charles on the HBO crime drama series The Wire. Charles served as Proposal Joe and Barksdale’s drug business executor and co-chairman of the New Day Co-Op. Slim Charles is a key character from seasons three to five. The series premiered on June 2, 2002 and ended on March 9, 2008. The series, created by David Simon, received critical acclaim from critics, with some calling it one of the best television series of all time.
The program focuses on five themes: the illegal drug trade, the port system, local government and bureaucracy, education and schools, and the printing medium. Despite the fact that the show did not receive any TV awards, it is currently one of the most popular.

He is best known as the creator of the Go band BackYard Band, also known as Ralph Anwan Glover. He became known for playing Slim Charles in the series The Wire. Glover rose to fame as a member of BackYard before joining the cast of The Wire in 2003. He has appeared in music videos for Dem Boyz Boyz n da Hood and Chillin Wale. He hosts a radio show on 93.9 WKYS-FM. In the first three episodes of the HBO drama Treme, the 51-year-old played convicted murderer Keevon White. From 2010 to 2013, the show aired for four seasons and was praised for its performances and authentic representation of New Orleans culture.
Anwan was accepted into the New York Film Academy. He’s also working on Shoedog, written by George Pelecanos. Despite his popularity, he has had a number of personal issues, including a nightclub attack in August 2014 and stabbing and minor injuries.
