Tell Me Lies, Hulu’s upcoming TV series, will premiere on the site on September 7, 2022. Tell Me Lies on Hulu is the story of a turbulent relationship.
The Hulu trailer for the series shows protagonist Lucy wandering the campus for the first time and meeting her future boyfriend Stephen for the first time. Sparks fly instantly when the two make eye contact. The trailer has a romantic, but unsettling, tone as well, as there’s a mystery surrounding Stephen and Lucy, implying that their possible relationship might not be very pleasant. Viewers can expect an unabashedly honest and personal portrayal of a troubled relationship. It is anticipated to be a character-driven melodrama about the harsh reality and ugly truths of love. According to the official synopsis of the show:
“Tell Me Lies” depicts a tumultuous yet ravishing romance that spans eight years. When Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco met in college, they were at a formative age when small decisions seem inexorable.”
The description continues,
“Though their relationship starts out like any other campus romance, they quickly become caught up in an addictive relationship that will forever change not only their lives but their lives as well. and the lives of everyone around them.”

Grace Van Patten plays Lucy in the series. Van Patten makes an extremely prominent appearance in the show’s trailer. She effortlessly conveys the underlying pain and despair that pervades her character. Viewers should expect the celebrity to deliver a stellar performance. Grace Van Patten is best known for her roles in The Meyerowitz Stories, Nine Perfect Strangers and other films directed by Noah Baumbach.
The film also stars famous actor Jackson White as Lucy’s love interest, Stephen DeMarco. White looks stunning in the clip, portraying the air of mystery and intrigue that characterizes his equation with Lucy.
