Shriya Sharma is a Bollywood actress who started her acting career as a child artiste and rose to fame playing the role of Sneha Bajaj in StarPlus’ hit TV serial Kasauti Zindagi Ki (2004–2005).

Shriya Sharma was born on Wednesday, 9 April 1997 (age 23 years; as in 2020) in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh. Shriya went to Lokhandwala Foundation School (2003–2013), where she studied till class 10th, and then she studied at RN Podar School CBSE (2013–2015) till class 12th, both in Mumbai. After this he studied Bachelor of Legal Science and Bachelor of Law from Praveen Gandhi College from 2015-2020.

Shriya started working as an actor at the age of four. His first role was that of Lord Krishna in Zee TV’s show ‘Kanhaiya’ in 2001. Her most prominent role was that of young Sneha Bajaj in ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, for which she earned many accolades.

Shriya was seen in StarPlus’ game show ‘Kya Aap Panchvi Pass Se Tez Hain’ in 2008, where she and four other students (Dhirya Sorecha, Anubhav Motilal, Siporna Ghoshal and Milanjeet Singh) helped the contestants win a prize of Rs 5 crore. Had helped. The show was hosted by Shahrukh Khan and he often fondly called Shriya his ‘princess’ during the show.

Shriya was also seen in many other shows including Boogie Woogie, Carry On Shekhar and Gumrah. She appeared in EPIC channel’s show ‘Stories by Rabindranath Tagore’ in 2015. 
Till 2020, Shriya has 18 films and many TV shows in her account. She has done countless commercials for brands like Sunfeast Pasta, Whirlpool, Relaxo Footwear and Complan.

Shriya predominantly works in South Indian films, and made her debut in the films Jai Chiranjeeva (2005; Telugu), Silunu Oru Kaadhal (2006; Tamil), and Soundarya (2007; Kannada). He was also seen as a child actor in other South Indian films like Robo, Raacha, Tuniga Tuniga and Dookudu.

Her debut as a lead actress was in the 2014 South Indian film Gayakudu, directed by Kamal G. Shriya was also seen as the lead actress in the film ‘Nirmala Convent (2016)’ opposite South Indian superstar Mika Srikanth’s son Roshan. Although the film was not well received by the audience, Shriya’s performance received a lot of positive response.

Apart from South Indian films, Shriya has also worked in Bollywood films like ‘Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic’ (with Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee), ‘Knock Out’ (with late Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan) and the 2011 Bollywood film ‘ Have done. ‘Chillar Party’.

In an interview after winning the National Film Award for his role of Toothpaste in ‘Chillar Party’ he said,
I have worked as a child actor in about 15 films so far and have worked in many other TV commercials in Tamil and Hindi over the last 13 years, but at one point in time, I wasn’t sure I really wanted to be an actress. Want it or not? But then, in 2012, I won a National Award for my role in Chillar Party and it changed my life completely. That’s when I realized that I had the potential to become an actress.”
