Saurabh was born on 1 December 1985 in New Delhi, India. In the initial phase of his acting career, he had to struggle a lot due to his height. The producers of the TV show found it difficult to find her opposite pair. He considers Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan as his inspiration.

He married his longtime girlfriend Riddhima Saurabh Jain, who is a software engineer by profession, in 2010. They met at ‘Ashley Lobo Academy’ in Noida. The couple are parents of twins, a boy and a girl who were born in 2017. His son’s name is Hrisiva and daughter’s name is Hrisika.

He did his schooling from Colonel Satsangis Kiran Memorial (CSKM) Public School, New Delhi. He completed his graduation with a degree in Computer Applications (BCA) from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi and MBA from Symbiosis International University, Pune. During his school days, he taught tuition to lower class students and earned ₹500 per student.
Saurabh’s acting career started when he got a chance to play the role of ‘Amandeep Chaddha’ in the TV serial ‘Remix’. He was still in college and after the show ended, he took a break of about two years to complete his studies.
After completing his studies, he rejoined the entertainment industry and got a chance to act in the Hollywood film ‘Karma: Crime’. Passion. Rebirth’ (2008).
