Penny dreadful

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFXHfEqMcis&w=100%&h=315]

The great attraction for Penny dreadful it’s definitely his use of some of our favorite classic stories. They intertwine stories like Frankenstein, The Picture of Dorian Gray, dracula, and Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The dark and mysterious tone of the show successfully connects these stories and expands their narratives by creating more character development through dynamic backstories. The show is entirely its own, so it’s not like you’re watching the same old stories you’ve heard a thousand times. It is original, heartbreaking and innovative with its familiarity.

rock castle

I’m a firm believer that anything with the Stephen King name on it is definitely worth a try. He is a master of horror and dabbles in many different forms of the genre; of aliens in Dream Catcher to pure terror in survival mode in gerald’s game to the ghosts in bag of bones to the invisible monster or possible paranoia (depending on your theory) in The girl who loved Tom Gordon. The list of Stephen King’s terrifying achievements could go on and on, so here’s what he does. rock castle so tempting for any horror buff. This show takes in some of King’s most beloved works, such as cujo and Necessary things and intertwine the story. Of course, set in Maine like many of his stories, the series focuses on the narration of the characters, in a landscape of beautiful images. So if you can’t get hooked on the story, at least you’ll have something nice to look at.

Strange things

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWxyRG_tckY&w=100%&h=315]

If you haven’t jumped on this fan-ship yet, then you’re missing out. Not only Strange things has you screaming at your screen as the Demogorgon lashes out at the beloved dopey kids, but Winona Ryder’s high-energy anxiety and falsely diagnosed paranoia will start to take over as well; I’m serious, don’t watch this if you’re already anxious because you’ll temporarily become agoraphobic and start making maps all over your house, like Weaver. The acting in this show is beyond amazing as well, and who doesn’t love a good coming-of-age story?

Harper’s Island

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7w2qGVWoo8&w=100%&h=315]

Yes, this is a miniseries and there’s no talk of a sequel, but it’s worth watching. Fair warning though, you’re going to be terribly disappointed when it’s over. But what a perfect ending it is! I won’t spoil it. The series begins at a wedding, everything is casual and jovial except for some small details that we find out about the characters, mainly about the history between them and how they relate to each other. But, then… couple… couple… couple, one by one the people begin to disappear from the bridal procession; I mean obviously because this is a thriller. This show will make your mind skip trying to figure out who the killer is. You’ll be thrown on a roller coaster of conspiracy theories and I almost guarantee you won’t have a clear picture until the very last episode of who the killer really is.
