Robert Vadra was born on 18 May 1969 (age: 54 years, as of 2023) in a Christian family in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. His family is originally from Sialkot, Punjab, Pakistan. His father came to India during the partition of India. His father, Rajendra Vadra, ran a brass and wooden handicraft business in Moradabad. His mother Maureen was of Scottish origin. Robert did his schooling from the British School, New Delhi.

Initially both the families were not ready for this marriage, but due to Priyanka Gandhi’s insistence they had to agree.
The couple have two children: a son, Rehaan (born in 2000) and a daughter, Miraya (born in 2002).
