Rema is getting candid about his friendship with Selena Gomez.
The 23-year-old Nigerian superstar, who just won for his hit song “Calm Down” with the 31-year-old superstar at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, spoke in an interview with People.
“’Calm Down’ did what it was supposed to do and I’m proud of it,” he said of the award-winning song.
“Everyone is great to Selena, first of all. I’ve been rocking with her and it was a blessing to discover that she really rocks with me. “She listens to my music,” she said of adding Selena to the song, adding that she is now “a friend of mine, a close friend.”
“Selena and I talk often. We are friends. “We haven’t had time to party and celebrate because we are all working, but of course, we always come back to take it all in,” she continued.
