Avantika was born in 1985 (age 38 Years; as of 2023) in Dehradun, India. She was born into a middle-class family and her father was not in a very stable occupation which led to her family’s financial condition not being well which motivated her to start earning money as fast as she could. Avantika did her schooling at a convent school in Dehradun. She was in Class 8 when she started helping her mother with her boutique, she took care of buying the material from Saharanpur and would travel there every day from Dehradun. She lived in Bhutan for 6 years with her family.

Avantika got married to Durjoy Dutta, an Indian author, on 1 March 2016 in Dehradun. They had a traditional Bengali wedding. The couple has 2 daughters, Rayna Dutta born in 2017 and Varya Dutta born in 2023.

Avantika Mohan was in a relationship with Durjoy Dutta for four years. According to Durjoy, they started messaging over Facebook and only met in person after they had dated for a really long time.

Career
She started working just after she passed out from High School. She moved to Delhi from Dehradun, for a job at a call centre. She got paid Five thousand monthly for her job. She aspired to become Miss India and started with Miss Uttranchal (Now Uttarakhand). She won the pageant and became the first Miss Uttaranchal. A year after winning the pageant she decided to begin her career as a Flight attendant. In the beginning, she worked with Indigo Airlines and then became a Flight attendant for Emirates Airlines.

She worked as a flight attendant for Emirates for 15 years. However, after the Pandemic she lost her job. Later, in October 2020 she started her own Marketing agency in Dubai. She is also a lifestyle influencer.
