Rani Hazarika was born on Sunday, 8 October 1984 (age 38 years; as in 2022) in Guwahati, Assam. His zodiac sign is Libra. Rani did her schooling from Ambari High School, Guwahati. He graduated in Music (Vocation) from Bhatkhande Sanskriti University, Lucknow. When Rani Hazarika was 6 years old, she started learning Indian classical music and began performing professionally on stage. He learned the basics of music from his father, late Rose Hazarika. By the time she was in 8th class, she became very popular in Assam because of her voice. She learned music professionally under the guidance of Santosh Pandit and Jaspinder Narula (Bollywood playback singer). After receiving professional training, he started recording jingles. She has also worked as a playback singer in many Assamese films and albums.

Rani Hazarika made her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Jab We Met’ (2007), where she was a playback singer for the film’s lead actress Kareena Kapoor. She then lent her voice to many popular Hindi songs, including “Kammo” from the film Department (2012), and “Sarkar” from the film ‘Udanchhu’ (2018). Rani Hazarika gained popularity after being one of the singers of the Hindi song ‘Nas Nas Mein’ in the multi-star cast film ‘Welcome Back’ in 2015. Other singers were Meet Brothers and Shabab Sabri. In the year 2014, Rani Hazarika and her husband Jan Nisar Lone founded AR Music Studio, Jammu and Kashmir’s first international music record label in Mumbai, which has the rights to over 3000 mainstream songs. Most of the music videos produced by AR Music Studio are shot in Kashmir.

- Rani got a call from a lyricist named Kumar ji asking her to come to the studio at 11:30 pm. Being completely unaware of the name of the film, he recorded the song ‘Nas Nas Mein’ in 20-25 minutes. He had earlier also sung a song for the same film (Welcome Back), which was removed due to some reasons.
- In an interview, Rani Hazarika had said that she is from the Hazarika dynasty of Assam.
