Nayana Dasgupta is an Indian journalist and wife of Ravish Kumar, senior executive editor of NDTV India. She is a professor of history at Lady Shri Ram College for Women.

Nayana started her job as a history professor at Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi in 2006. She teaches medieval history of India to students in college.

Facts/General Knowledge
- Nayana and Ravish Kumar first met each other when they were doing MA in Deshbandhu College, Delhi. Ravish, who studied in Hindi medium schools, was not proficient in English, which made it difficult for him to understand lessons in college. At that time Nayana used to help Ravish with his language.
- Nayana and Ravish had to face many challenges to convince their parents who were against their love marriage. Reportedly, both of them had to break ties with their families to marry each other. However, their parents accepted their marriage after a few years.
