Warning: Spoiler for My Hero Academia Season 6, Episode 17 my hero academyDeku and All Might meet and they have a special relationship. However, the latest episode proves that this connection is a lot more real than one might expect.
Of course, Deku inherited the power of All Might my hero academy, One for All, at the beginning of the series. However, it has only recently become clear that there are “traces” of previous holders in One for All. These relics preserve the thoughts and memories of their original owners, and exist even after their death, as ghosts with whom only Midoriya can communicate. Deku meets the fifth holder, Daigoro Banjo, the younger brother of the first holder, All for One, and Nana Shimura, the predecessor of All Might. But all the previous holders are dead my hero academy, with the exception of All Might, and traces of All Might have been seen before. So how does all this relic work for All Might?
A meeting for all monuments
After fighting Shigaraki in the Supernatural Liberation War, Midoriya was hospitalized and comatose, despite his friends and classmates, and even insiders. my hero academy Like Bakugou, woke up. In “The Wrong Way to Put Out a Fire,” Allmet suspects there may be multiple causes for this coma, claiming he can sense what’s going on in Green Valley’s mind. Sure enough, in the episode’s ending scene, the first user approaches Midoriya in his spirit realm, summoning him to meet the other relic.
This has some interesting implications. Not only does it confirm the existence of the Olmite site, but the surviving Olmites have a sense of what the site is going through, even though he doesn’t fully know it. Interestingly, it was All for One who explained the answer to this question, saying that whenever he received a quip from someone, their spirit would follow. Traces of those eccentricities would sometimes torment him in his sleep until he was free from that human eccentricity.
Traces of the Almighty are left in the soul of Green Valley
This also seems to apply to everyone, confirming that, yes, a small portion of All Might now exists in Midoriya. The ability to sense and communicate with it is still weak, but there is nothing to suggest that it cannot be trained or enhanced in some way to give them optimal personal communication. This ability is still very new, so it has not said what its limitations are; perhaps it only works at close range, and All Might can only sense it when sitting at close range. It could have some useful uses, though, as it presents All Might’s decades of experience with Midoriya in a new way.
Of course, there’s no guarantee this ability will be used much; After all, All Might never showed up my hero academyThe front has been stuck at this point for a long time. Still, it’s an interesting card for Midoriya to keep in his back pocket, if someone can find a creative use for it. my hero academyit will be him.
