Munir Mohamedi was born on May 10, 1989 in Melilla, Spain as Munir Mohand Mohamedi. His father’s name is Mohamed El Haddadi Arbrqui, while his mother’s name is unknown.

- Munir then moved to UD Melilla in the summer of 2009, where he played as a substitute for Pedro Dorronsor for the first two seasons. Munir made a total of 74 appearances for Melilla between 2009 and 2014.
- On 17 June 2014, Munir signed a two-year free transfer with Segunda Division club CD Numancia. Munir made his club debut on 11 September 2014, saving two penalties in the penalty shootout after a 1–1 draw against CD Leganes in the Copa del Rey.
