Aakash Dodeja, better known as Jaadu, is an Indian comedian, vlogger and YouTuber. He is known for appearing in popular YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani’s funny videos.

Akash Chander Dodeja was born on Saturday, 27 March 1993 (age 30 years; as of 2023), and hails from Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra. Their zodiac sign is Aries.

He did his schooling from Sri Satya Sai Niketan High School, Ulhasnagar. For junior college, he attended Smt. Chandibai Himmatmal Mansukhani College, Ulhasnagar (2009 – 2011). From 2011 to 2015, he studied Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Chemical Engineering at Thadomal Shahani Engineering College (2011 – 2015) in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He completed BE, securing first division in it. In an interview, Akash revealed that he studied chemical engineering because his father owned some chemical factories. He thought he would study chemical engineering and join his father’s business to expand it.

Akash Dodeja dated Simran Dhanwani for a long time before getting married in 2024, who also appears in YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani’s Vines. On 3 January 2024, Simran announced her engagement with Akash. She posted pictures on her Instagram account in which Akash was seen proposing her with a ring.

Ashish Chanchlani, who is his best friend, played the role of matchmaker between the two. Chanchlani posted a heart-touching comment on his post, which read,
Yes friends, Hermione Granger is engaged to Ron Weasley. Love you both very much. My two best friends are getting married. Just wow.”
In her Instagram story, Chanchlani posted the poster of her YouTube video titled The Palti-Khor Friend (2017), with the caption,

Since childhood, he has been fond of films and entertainment industry. As a child, he used to sit with his father and watch old movies to enjoy the air-conditioned TV room. Later, he studied science stream in class 11 and 12 and enrolled in MBGT tuition classes, where he met Ashish Chanchlani. One day, Ashish and his friend Karan were sitting in the tuition class arguing over Akshay Kumar’s way of laughing, while Akash, a film buff, was sitting on the bench behind them. While Karan said that it was Akshay Kumar’s real style, Ashish said that he was copying the laugh of an old Bollywood actor. Amidst the heated argument, Akash said that Akshay Kumar imitates the laughter of veteran actor Pran and Jeevan. Akash’s knowledge about Bollywood impressed Ashish and soon they became friends. Then, Akash joined Thadomal Shahani Engineering College, Mumbai, while Ashish joined Datta Meghe College of Engineering, Navi Mumbai. Around 2014-15, while in college, Ashish started content on vines and shared it on social media. Seeing Ashish, Akash also wanted to make vines. Akash used to meet Ashish on weekends and make funny videos for Ashish’s YouTube channel. However, for Akash it was a leisure time activity. After completing his engineering, he worked in the corporate sector for two years, before pursuing a career in the entertainment industry.

In July 2015, he started working as a process engineer at Aker Solutions in Mumbai, an oilfield services subsea (technology) engineering company. He had joined as a contract trainee and was to become a permanent employee in one and a half years. However, the company laid off contract trainees in 2017 due to the sudden drop in oil prices. Later, in 2017, he took up the role of Process Engineer at TechnoQuest, Inc., where he worked for seven months. After this he decided to appear for CAT exam to pursue MBA. Parallelly, he was making vines with Ashish Chanchlani over the weekend.

Meanwhile, he also joined his father’s chemical business. On the day of her exam, some fellow CAT aspirants recognized her as Jadoo at the exam center and asked if she was the same person who appeared in Ashish Chanchlani’s video. Then people started taking photographs with him. After this moment, Sky revealed that he had accumulated a fan base and started taking content creation seriously. He did not pursue an MBA and instead, started focusing on content creation and running his father’s business. Subsequently, Akash appeared in various films of Ashish Chanchlani such as The Reality of Every New Year’s Plan (2016) When Mom Is Scolding Your Brother and You Are Enjoying It (2017), The Friend Who Always Sabotages All Our Plans Na Kehta Hai (2017), and The Palti-Khor Friend (2017), with Kunal Chhabria, Simran Dhanwani, Rohit Sadhwani, Anmol Sachar, Barkha Singh, Bhavika Motwani, Radhika Bangia, Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma, among others.

In 2018, he set up his self-titled YouTube channel on which he posts a variety of funny vlogs, they call it “V-log” because Sky and his friends are always seen together in their vlogs. His first vlog was on a trip to Goa with friends. In 2019, Aakash earned a YouTube Silver Play Button for his self-titled channel.

In 2020, she received critical acclaim for playing the role of Claudia Ciesla in Ashish Chanchlani’s parody video Sasta Bigg Boss.

In the year 2022, Chanchalani made a parody of the television show Shark Tank India.
