At premieres we dress in pink! On Monday, Lindsay Lohan attended the premiere of the Bad Girls Musical film adaptation in New York City.
Lohan, the original Cady, graced the event to give her seal of approval and had a fabulous meeting with the genius behind it all, creator and writer Tina Fey. Images of the actress walking down the red carpet (decorated to look like a high school hallway) hit social media.
The actress graced the occasion in a stunning long-sleeved black dress that featured an exquisite cut embellished with sparkling silver crystals. She also paused to take some snaps with Fey and Lorne Michaels, the creator of Saturday night live.
Bad Girls Fans were quick to weigh in on Lindsay Lohan’s appearance at the premiere of the new movie. “She has not aged one bit”, a plastic artist in training observed. “Lindsay looks beautiful,” another fan noted. “She’s really embracing nostalgia! “I can’t wait to see her in action again,” wrote one Lohan lover.
Finally, one X (formerly Twitter) user loved the high school-themed red carpet shown in the images. “Whoever designed this rug needs a raise IMMEDIATELY!!,” they exclaimed.

While Lindsay Lohan played Cady Heron in the original film. Bad Girls, the 2024 remake features Angourie Rice in the title role. Renée Rapp, known for her performance in Sexual life of university girlsreprises her Broadway character as Regina George.
Fey, the writer of the original film, also stars in and writes the film-musical adaptation and produces the project with Michaels. Fey’s husband, Jeff Richmond, created the musical’s tunes, while Nell Benjamin wrote the lyrics.
Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert, known for their roles as Cady Heron, Karen Smith and Gretchen Wieners in the iconic 2004 film, recently reunited for a commercial that delighted Bad Girls fans.
The commercial was packed with clever nods to the original teen comedy, leaving fans in awe and even prompting some to suggest it should have been saved for the Super Bowl. The spot takes us back to the film’s most memorable moments, including Karen’s (played by Amanda Seyfried) dizzying weather reports and unforgettable performance of “Jingle Bell Rock” in matching alluring Santa costumes.
Despite the excitement surrounding the long-awaited meeting of Bad GirlsFans couldn’t help but notice the conspicuous absence of a key character: Regina George, played by Rachel McAdams.
However, McAdams claims he was unaware of the nostalgic ad. “I didn’t know everyone was doing it,” he said recently. Variety. “Of course, I would always love to be part of a Bad Girls meet and hang out with my Plastics, but yeah, I found out later.”
