Actors Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won have been cast in the upcoming drama Queen of Tears. On December 5, production company Studio Dragon officially announced the production of Queen of Tears, stating:
“The drama Queen of Tears by scriptwriter Park Ji-new eun has been confirmed to be produced.”
Park Ji-eun, the screenwriter behind the successful dramas My Lover From the Star and The Producers, will create the next drama Queen of Tears. Jang Young-woo, who previously collaborated with Park Ji-eun on the 2019 Netflix blockbuster Crash Landing On You, will direct the film. The new film will tell the story of a couple who face a series of challenges to preserve what belongs to them. Actors Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won will play husband and wife.

Kim Soo-hyun Yongduri’s proud character is Baekhyun-woo.
Kim Soo-hyun will play the role of Baek Hyun-woo, a popular guy in Yongdura town. Baek Hyun-woo, also known as “the pride of the city”, is the legal director of Queens Group.
