Nicole Kidman’s AMC theater spot has been a cultural phenomenon for the past two years, and her husband Keith Urban is now sharing his thoughts on the surprise hit.
For those who don’t know, Nicole created a 60-second spot for the theater chain in 2021 to help welcome audiences back to theaters following the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown.
The ad was released online, but also played before every movie screening on AMC for the past two years. A sequel is on the way!

While at Criss Angel’s Addicted to talk On the podcast, Keith was asked if he saw success coming.
“I mean none of us did,” he said in response. “She did it because we love cinema, she loves cinema and they were difficult times for cinemas.”
“Not in a million years [was she] hoping that that is something cultural,” he added (via Us weekly). “It’s crazy.”
