Chris Young reveals how much he weighs after losing 66 pounds, what foods he ‘can’t’ give up, and more

Chris Young is looking into his body transformation.

The “Young Love & Saturday Nights” country singer, 38, has lost 66 pounds since embarking on a weight loss journey.

In a recent interview, he revealed what changes he made to his diet and lifestyle to start the process. He also said there was one food he just “can’t” give up. Chris even shared what he weighed.

Speaking to ET, Chris said he now weighs 230 pounds.

He explained that he decided to make the changes after a doctor’s appointment. “She told me, ‘You have to do something.’ It was the first time in my life that my doctor looked at me and she said, ‘You’re in an unhealthy situation right now, it’s okay,’” she explained.

Inspired by his love of acting and wanting to do it for as long as possible, Chris decided to pursue it. He works with a trainer and does a lot of meal prepping. But it was also about balance.

For example, you “can’t” give up carbohydrates. “He would be a real bear to deal with,” she said. “The people who work with me would be miserable if I didn’t eat carbs, it would be horrible because I like bread and quesadillas too much, let’s be honest.”

Now that he’s at a new weight, Chris doesn’t feel like he’s “done.”

“It’s something I want to continue doing and I enjoy being in the gym, I enjoy being in the gym with friends and, you know, working out with my trainer. Now it has become part of my everyday life,” she said, adding that she is feeling the difference.
