With a surprising performance, he won the race. Kyle was then ready for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, driving for Rev Racing. After a few races, he earned his first win in the K&N Pro Series East at Gresham Motorsports Park in Jefferson, Georgia.

After 2012
In late June 2012, Larson made his Camping World Truck Series debut at Kentucky Speedway. A year after his debut in April 2013, he earned his first Truck Series victory at Rockingham Speedway.
That same year, he moved to the NASCAR Nationwide Series. On the final lap of the DRIVE4COPD 300 at Daytona International Speedway, he suffered a major accident. He was unharmed but injured several spectators in the stands. Then in 2014, he moved full-time to the Cup Series. Larson earned his first Nationwide Series victory at Auto Club Speedway that same year.
Aside from all the events mentioned above, Larson has been a common name in the Monster Energy Cup Series since 2013.
