Adult film star Kagney Linn Karter has reportedly passed away at the age of 36 after committing suicide last week.
According to TMZ, Karter died on Thursday, February 15. His body was received by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office from Parma, Ohio. A representative of the Parma Police Department. revealed to the media outlet that the adult film actress appeared to have taken her own life.
Following her unexpected passing, Kagney Linn Karter’s friends Rachel and Megan started a GoFundMe in the name of her mother, Tina. The funds would be used to honor Karter and all the financial expectations associated with it. Rachel and Megan also own two gyms in Northeast Ohio, Ecole de Pole Cleveland and Ecole de Pole Akron.
“Kagney was a woman who wore many hats; she was a performer, singer, dancer, daughter and friend,” the GoFundMe reads. “She first arrived at our Cleveland studio in November 2019, freshly moved from Los Angeles, growing up and ready to get back on the pole, in a whole new community where she didn’t know anyone and no one knew her. She wasn’t intimidated or anxious. The fact that she was the new girl on the block didn’t bother him in the least.”
Rachel and Megan also noticed that Kagney Linn Karter immediately became excited about the studio and all the students. She “spent a lot of time in the studio, sometimes taking five or six classes a week, and she dedicated herself to training. “Her dedication to her own progress was inspiring.”
Over time, Karter branched out and opened his own studio in the Akron area. Shortly after he opened Alchemy Pole Fitness. However, the studio ended up closing.

While continuing to talk about Kagney Linn Karter, Rachel and Megan revealed that the adult film actress had mental problems over the years.
“Yet, even in her darkest days, she still showed up in the studio,” the women explained. “She is always ready to learn, contribute and improve in any small way she can achieve. Although she undoubtedly felt alone within the confines of her own head, she continued to make an effort to be present to her friends and her community that cared about her.”
The ladies then said that Kagney Linn Karter’s last class with them was on February 7th. Less than two weeks later, she took her own life at her home. “The news sank like a stone in our hearts. The horrible reality of a studio without Kagney, a community without her, seemed completely wrong. Unnatural. “Too difficult to accept.”
Rachel and Megan added that all GoFundMe funds will go directly to Karter’s mother to cover funeral costs. Leftover funds will be given to a local animal rescue charity, as “Kagney had a pure adoration for all of God’s creatures.”
