John Mayer no longer has any interest in being “America’s ex-boyfriend.” He wants to find a special lady, settle down and get married.
He Gravity The singer opened up about his romantic life during a Jan. 7 installment of Kelly Rizzo. Comfort food. Mayer has been linked to dozens of celebrities, including Taylor Swift, Cameron Diaz and Jessica Simpson, but he’s never come close to saying “I do.”
Due to his dating history, fans assume that he is not looking for long-term monogamy. However, he would love to find Mrs. Mayer. “People don’t think I want to get married,” she said. “I absolutely want to get married.”
“I so want to get married if only so that my wife knows in her heart, ‘John will know what to do,’” he continued; “I just think that level of confidence is the best thing in the world for me. ‘If my husband was here, he would know what to do. She calls John. He calls my husband ‘”.
The 46-year-old joked that having that “romantic fantasy” is proof that someone is a “full adult.”
“Your problem is that you want someone to say, ‘John has a boy,’” Rizzo laughed.

John Mayer did not reveal if he currently has anyone special in his life. He has maintained a private life in recent years, but this is not the first time he has expressed his desire to say “I do.”
