John Cena crosses the stage of the 2024 Oscars, the Internet dies of laughter

Former WWE Champion John Cena was the talk of the town at the Oscars. When Cena was present to present the award for Best Costume Design, he walked across the stage naked. Of course, he went viral on social media.

“This is real? It’s like she came straight from the shower and didn’t have time to get dressed,” said one user on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Bro gave up the WWE championship for shit like THIS?!?!?” another user added.

“When you need attention you do drastic things. “Attention baby economy,” added another user.

“They have this man performing a humiliation ritual at the Oscars,” said another.

WWE urged to expel John Cena from Wrestlemania

Cena earned a reputation as one of the best in WWE. But he has since transitioned to Hollywood and has therefore not been a full-time WWE Superstar in years. But he briefly returned to the company in 2023 amid the SAG-AFTRA strike. But despite being one of the best stars in WWE history, he is urging the brand not to have him in a match at this year’s Wrestlemania.

“There’s not much room for someone like Cena, even over the course of two nights,” Bleacher Report wrote.

“For example, last year he struggled to a super obvious loss in the first match of Night 1, a loss at the hands of Austin Theory in a match that barely broke the 11-minute mark.”

WWE star details feud with The Rock

Cena, a sixteen-time WWE Champion, has had feuds with several Hall of Famers. But his most notable beef was with fellow Hollywood star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Things got particularly heated when Cena criticized The Rock for leaving WWE to pursue a career as a movie star. He also questioned how much he loved the company. It’s a decision he now regrets.

“Oh my God, yes. It was for me [like]”I’m going to hit this guy because I have nothing to lose.” I have all the influence… My point of view came from the fact that he was openly saying, “I love WWE.” And I was like, ‘Man, if you love it, why aren’t you here?’ what a stupid thing [of me] say. “I am very sorry because I had a lot to lose,” Cena said.
