Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are expecting their second child. Somerhalder is best known for playing Damon Salvatore in The Vampire Diaries. Nikki Reed, on the other hand, is not on the show. Somerhalder announced the news on Instagram with a photo of Reed clutching her baby bump and wearing a red dress. Post titled:
“I’ve always wanted to have a big family since I was little. Thank you Nik for the gift. SECOND ROUND HERE!!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you this beautiful woman for the gift of life. and love, for being the best mom ever and for working so hard to make my dreams come true!!!”

Reed announced the news on Instagram and posted the same photo and comment that she had been waiting for this moment for a long time and it was the most beautiful gift she has ever received. She went on to say:
“As you know, I have very strict limits when it comes to social media, especially when it comes to kids and what I choose to put out there. Thank you so much for doing this, and for bringing optimism, compassion, and LOVE. There are things that are too beautiful to keep to yourself.”
Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed have another daughter, Bodhi, born in July 2017.

Nikki Reed made her debut in the 2013 teen film Thirteen. The film was a box office success, and Reed and Catherine Hardwicke were praised for writing it in six days.
