When asked during a fan meeting in 2021 how many times she has dated, she used a mathematical equation to explain it to the audience. After solving the equation he got -2 and 0 as answers. Eventually, he revealed that they had actually dated 0 times.
In an interview, he revealed that he did not have the opportunity to befriend girls because his parents did not allow him to date during his high school years. He also shared a story when he took action against his mother’s wishes in an unusual way. He said,
I have parents who were always like, ‘Oh, you can do whatever you want later in college.’ It was my parents’ anniversary so I decided to go shopping for gifts and I went with a friend who was a girl. I didn’t think much of it because I wasn’t thinking about dating so when I went to get gifts she went with me. I came home and gave the gift to my mother and told her how I had gone shopping with my friend to get the gift. Instead of being happy with the gift, she just focused on the fact that I went with a girl, and wasn’t happy about it. I thought to myself, ‘Okay then, I will never date.’ Now that I’ve grown up and am in the entertainment industry, she keeps saying, ‘There will be nice beautiful girls all around you, when are you going to date?'”
