J. Harrison Ghee made history at Tony’s earlier this month and now they’re helping celebrate a friend’s milestone!
The 34-year-old Broadway star attended the opening night performance of James T. Lane’s one-man show. threefold threat on Monday night (June 26) at Theater Row Theater in New York City.
Written and performed by Lane, threefold threat “recounts the moving and redemptive journey of the actor, from his rise in the entertainment world through thick and thin, to his cataclysmic near-death fall, and his extraordinary return to the top… Audiences will follow James as he he escapes his traumatic adolescence at the South Philly Projects, and through sheer talent and tenacity, becomes a Broadway musical star. They will appear as the entertainer takes them through his next unexpected acts, going from headliner to drifter and finally back to himself.”
threefold threat runs through July 30 on Theater Row.
Ghee became the first openly non-binary person to win Best Actor in a Musical at the Tony Awards for his performance in some like it hot.
