Hiten was born on 5 March 1974 (44 years as of 2018) in Mumbai, India. He is a famous actor and businessman. He rose to fame with the TV serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and won several awards for his role as Karan Mihir Virani. Hiten also appeared in other popular TV serials. In the year 2017, he participated in season 11 of one of the most controversial shows, Bigg Boss.

He is the father of twins, born in 2009. They have a son, Neevan Tejwani, and a daughter, Katya Tejwani.

Hiten did his schooling from St. Francis D’Assisi High School, Mumbai and his graduation from Jai Hind College, Mumbai. After graduation, he began working as an assistant director and editor. She also worked as a model and walked the ramp in various fashion shows and events. In 2000, he got his first break as an actor from the TV serial Ghar Ek Mandir. However, he became a household name with the role of Karan Mihir Virani in the TV serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (2003–2008).
She was also featured in several commercial advertisements of popular brands like Close Up Renew, TVS Scooty, Breeze Soap etc.
