Controversy with Jai Akash
In September 2009, Sunnina filed a complaint against Jai Akash with the South Indian Artists Association, alleging that he tampered with some of her images to gain publicity for the film ‘Madhan’. However, Jai Akash said in a statement,
It is Sunaina who shot those ‘intimate’ scenes with me and there is no need for me to do some cheap act of molestation.”
After this, Jai Akash filed a complaint against Sunaina in Nadigar Sangam and Producers Council and sent a legal notice to her after the allegations against him.
