Jamrudh, fond of dance since childhood, started participating in dance reality shows at a very young age. In 2012, he secured the opportunity to compete in the Malayalam reality TV show ‘Super Dancer Junior 5’ which aired on Amrita TV.

He was a participant in Kerala School Kalolsawam (2015). Regulated by the Department of General Education, Government of Kerala, Kerala School Kalolsavam is a student festival held in Kerala that provides a platform for students to showcase their talent at school level, sub-district level, district level and state level.

In 2016, he made his film debut with a small role in the Indian Malayalam road-comedy film ‘Oru Muthassi Gadha’.

In October 2017, he started working as an assistant instructor at the dance academy Jobs & Sabz. In 2017, he joined a dance group that performed at Global Village UAE, a shopping, dining and entertainment complex in Dubai.

He appeared as a contestant in the Malayalam dance reality TV show Dance Kerala Dance (2019); The show aired on Zee Keralam. During the quarter finale of Dance Kerala Dance (2019), for the ‘Colours’ round, Jamrudh and his mentor Malavika Menon chose gray as their theme color. As per their theme colour, they performed on the topic of dangers of passive smoking. Displaying a strong social message, the contemporary acting was highly appreciated by both the judges and the audience. This act also won them the title of Best Performance of the Day and the ‘Golden Ticket’ i.e. direct entry into the finale. Her appearance in Dance Kerala Dance (2019) proved to be a success for her and gained her a loyal fan following. To earn a cash prize of Rs. 7 lakh, Jamrudh secured the position of first runner-up of the show.
