Even Graham McTavish knows it’s a little weird that he keeps getting roles on fantasy shows.
The actor, who has appeared not only in strangebut dragon house and those of netflix The magicianopened up about the strange coincidence and the similarities of their roles on fan-favorite shows.

Speaking to Insider at the season three premiere of The magicianGraham opened up about everything.
“It’s strange that it seems like I now spend so much of my career riding a horse, wearing capes, carrying candles, armed with a sword,” he joked on the red carpet.
He then added that the three roles are “very different in many ways, but what the world of fantasy allows you is a kind of freedom that you don’t get in any other genre. So if I were sitting behind a desk like Dijkstra with a cell phone, it wouldn’t be as interesting.”
“I’m a huge fan of that genre, so the opportunity to act in it has been absolutely fantastic,” Graham added. “That’s what I want to do, so it’s been very messy. so i started with The HobbitI guess, and I’ve never worn a suit since.
