A brand new storyline for “Something Is Killing The Children” starting at issue 21, directed by an all-star creative team. The next chapter in the Eisner Award-nominated horror series will be written by GLAAD Award-winning author James Tynion IV, known for The Truth and Beautiful House by the Lake. The artwork will be done by Werther Dell’Edera of Razorblades, color by Miquel Muerto of House of Slaughter, and lettering by AndWorld Design of We Only Find Them When They’re Dead. The main cover art will be by series artist Werther Dell’Edera, with various covers by Jenny Frison for Catwoman, Dan Mora for Klaus, Gabriele Dell’Otto for Moon Knight and Vincenzo Riccardi for Seven Secrets.
In preview due to BOOM! release, studios and fans can preview the new storyline that begins with “Something Is Killing The Children #21”. The plot will begin a year after the events of Archer Peak, with Erica Slaughter taking on a new case after a girl claims to have seen a new type of monster. Based on the girl’s description of the monster, Erica realized the terrifying effects of this alleged sighting. Plus, Erica Slaughter had completely severed ties with Slaughter House, so those potentially deadly consequences followed her as well. No crime against the family will be granted by the Order of St. George forgives or forgets, and Slaughter House readers know Order of St. How brutal is George.
As Erica Slaughter searches for this mysterious new monster, she herself is being hunted. As described in the preview, there is a mysterious figure stalking Erika, who may or may not be connected to Slaughter House.
