Deepa Buller Khosla was born in August 1991 (age 30 years; as in 2021) in Delhi, India. When she was six years old, her family shifted to Chennai and later to Ooty in Tamil Nadu. Initially, he did his schooling in a Hindi medium school in Chennai, and then he attended Hebron School, Ooty, Tamil Nadu.

In 2012, she completed her Bachelor of Laws in International Human Rights at the University College Utrecht, Utrecht, Netherlands. In 2015, he pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) in Corporate Law from BPP Law School, London, UK. In April 2013, he began his internship as a legal trainee at the International Criminal Court in the Netherlands. Later, she interned at IMA Influencer Agency in Amsterdam.

She first met Oleg Bueller when she was studying at a university in Amsterdam. Oleg works as a diplomat for the Dutch Foreign Services. He talked about this incident in an interview. He said,
I reached there on the first day, and I was late by a few days because I had an Indian passport so I had some visa problems. Almost all the new students had formed their own friend groups and everything. My parents dropped me off at the main reception, and the first person I saw was my now husband.”
Later they connected through Facebook and soon their friendship turned into love. After dating each other for a few months, Oleg proposed Deepa for marriage. During an interview, Deepa told how Oleg had proposed her. He said,
She organized an event on the theme “Vogue India Christmas Dinner” at Devigarh Palace, Udaipur. But when the day came, I found Oleg on his knees at the end of the beautiful courtyard of this Indian palace. I was happy not to eat dinner!”
In September 2018, the couple married in a four-day wedding ceremony at the Fateh Garh Palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan. They followed both Punjabi and European marriage ceremonies. Deepa wore 9 different outfits designed by famous Indian fashion designers Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Pini Micheli at her wedding.

In February 2014, he started working as Social Media Manager at IMA, Amsterdam, Netherlands. In January 2015, she began working as a fashion influencer and launched her website DiipaKhosla.com. While talking about her journey as a fashion influencer in an interview, she said,
it was not easy. This was possible only through hard work and clear goal-setting. This is something that I want to tell all the youth. Keep your goals very clear. Be so specific as to think: ‘I want to live in Times Square!’ How and when that will happen can be worked out, but just be clear.”
In 2019, she founded the NGO ‘Post for Change’ to promote women’s rights. In an interview he talked about his NGO. He said,
Now, I am working on an initiative to help 250,000 rural women get access to menstrual hygiene products. That’s the best part of what I do—I can impact the things that impact me most. Over the years, I have been on the covers of international magazines, won impressive awards, addressed the British Lords on Women’s Day and been on billboards. But what really matters is the purpose this platform has given me. It has allowed me to take all the suffering, all the experiences in my life and use it for good. It’s helped me build an armor that lets me fight for those who can’t fight.”

I knew I wanted to help people, so I pursued human rights law. I got my degree and then did an internship with an influencer agency in Europe, where I was exposed to the world of social media. Initially I got into fashion blogging. I felt self-conscious but I pushed myself to step out of my comfort zone. Over the next few years my account grew and I realized I had a voice that could reach thousands of people. So with that, I started another page dedicated to women empowerment; This is a cause close to my heart – I hoped to help women struggling with gender inequality and mental health issues.”
In 2021, she launched her cosmetic line ‘Inde Wild’ in Amsterdam.

- When she was in school and college, she faced a lot of criticism because of her dark complexion. In an interview she talked about facing racism and sexism, saying,
I have faced these issues my entire life. In 2016, I was rejected by a PR firm to attend a London Fashion Week show and another influencer, who was Caucasian with fewer followers, was given the permission. The only difference is our skintone! But I used negativity as fuel to push myself further. Whenever I faced the issue of sexism, I would think: One day I will be your CEO and then men will know what sexism is.

But when I went to the West, I realized that my uniqueness lies in being different and what makes me unique is my identity, my culture and my beautiful skin color. I started embracing it and wearing my Indianness like a gold medal and it gave me confidence. For example, I stopped thinking about how I would be able to be front row at Milan Fashion Week, and just went for the challenge. Soon I was not only sitting front row, but also flirting with the same design brand that had once had a problem with my complexion.”

When my parents saw that I was doing things bigger than myself, they were proud. At the TED Talk in Amritsar, he was in the audience and smiled when I spoke. You were like this 10 years ago. And that is absolutely true.”

I prefer a completely natural, no-makeup look, so I go with a tinted moisturizer or lightweight foundation—IT Cosmetics Tinted Moisturizer is a must-have in my bag. I like to add some color to my cheeks and eyes, it’s usually something from Nudestix. I also apply liquid highlighter on the cheeks and nose, a light coat of mascara, nude lipstick and brow definer. In terms of skin care, I use Kiehl’s face wash followed by Embryolis cream or retinol cream. I usually keep my hair curly and Kerastase is my favorite choice for hair care.
