Adult film star Sophia Leone, 26, was found dead in her apartment in March. Her mother recently broke her silence about the tragic death of her daughter. In doing so, she provided some context about what could have led to her untimely demise.
Leone’s mother claimed that the actress was prone to heavy drinking and had suicidal thoughts. This information was revealed in a police report filed after her mysterious death.
Police do not believe foul play was involved in his death. They also do not believe there is evidence to indicate that a robbery or homicide occurred. Authorities also declined to comment on whether León’s death was drug-related. At this time, toxicology reports are still pending.

Sophia Leone’s death was first confirmed by her stepfather, Mike Romero. Romero launched a GoFundMe page and broke the news. On that page, he described her late stepdaughter as “a loving friend.”
“Sophia was found unconscious in her apartment on March 1, 2024 by her family,” he stated. “Local police are still conducting an investigation into the cause of death.”
Since the announcement of his death, GoFundMe donations have been steady. Fellow adult film star Lena The Plug donated $500 to help the family with funeral expenses.
As of April 20, more than $14,000 has been raised for the family.
