When Eric (Topher Grace) and Donna (Laura Prepon) take their daughter Leia (Callie Haverda) for the weekend, she decides to go out with her new best friend and Gwen, Katie and Red’s next door neighbor. Spend this summer together (Ashley Ofderhead). Gwen’s brother Nate (Maxwell Acee Donovan) and girlfriend Nikki (Sam Morelos) naturally engage in mischief. Ozzie (Reyn Doi) delivers sarcastic humor and last but not least, Jay Kelso (Mace Coronel), son of Jackie (Mila Kunis) and Michael Kutcher (Ashton Kutcher), is also present.

Rant screen: Callie must have been under a lot of pressure playing the role of Eric and Donna’s daughter. Did Topher and Laura give you any advice before the shoot? [could] Easily fit into the role?
Callie Haverda: Oh man, that’s a good question. I feel that in a way, everything they tell me can be considered advice. They are all really great actors. We talked a lot just about feeling comfortable. My first scene was actually in front of a live studio audience, with Debra Jo, Kurtwood, Topher and Laura. So it was a really scary moment. I was worried, but I think they told me to have fun. We’re doing a comedy show. So it’s just really comfortable and fun.
It looks really interesting. Your chemistry is very natural. This group seems to have a lot of fun. Ryan, I love Ozzie. He’s like the ironic glue that holds the group together. So how do you create this connection with other actors? [and] that move?
Reyn Doi: We hang out a lot. After that, I never went there again, but some of them went to the Rose Bowl a few times. Ashley invited us to our house. Carly invited us to her house
Maxwell Acee Donovan: Mace takes us into an immersive Van Gogh experience. It’s amazing.
Reyn Doi: So I think going out for extra time really brought us closer together. But we see each other every day. But I love these people even though I see them every day.
Ashley Aufderheide: We always have lunch together and the lunches last a long time.
Sam Morelos: Yeah, we’ll have lunch in front of Netflix HQ and sneak in to get the stickers. We have a lot.
Maxwell Acee Donovan: We never took any stickers [laughs].
Ashley and Sam. I think you all have your own That thing ‘70s show Guys, but did you have a favorite character before going on stage? Are you familiar with this program?
Sam Morelos: Yeah, when it was on Netflix, I binge-watched the whole thing during the quarantine. So I really, really like Donna. I really love her, she works in radio, loves music, she is herself. I really love her. So she is my favorite character. But, um, yes,
Ashley Aufderheide: It’s a tough question because I think I like all the characters. I already read That’s 70 performances When I have an audition to do my research. I was just attracted to all the characters. I don’t think I can choose one. I think it depends on my mood. Like if my mood is more relaxed, I will be attracted to one person, or if my mood is funny, maybe I will be attracted to the other person. It really depends on how I feel, but I think they’re all very talented.
Mace and Max, I also like you Jay and Nate. Just keep outside, hot tub. Interesting. Do you have a favorite episode or favorite moment that you filmed together?
Maxwell Acee Donovan: I mean, there’s an episode where you and I take a hot shower.
Mace Coronel: Yeah, I can’t believe you’re dragging Jay along.
Maxwell Acee Donovan: What? You want to.
Mace Coronel: It was a really fun episode, looking forward to more heckling.
Reyn Doi: You two have great chemistry.
Maxwell Acee Donovan: God, sometimes we sing Highwaymen. I’m showing off.

About the 90s show
It’s 1995, and Leia Forman is yearning for some adventure in her life, or at least a close friend who isn’t her father. While going to Point Place to visit her grandparents, Red and Kitty, Leia finds what she’s been looking for when she meets the feisty and rebellious Gwen next door.
With the help of Gwen’s friends, including her adorable brother Nate, his laser-focused, smart girlfriend Nikki, the sarcastic and insightful Ozzie, and the charming Jay, Leia realize that there may be adventures out there. let her stay over the summer, just like her parents had done years before. The basement is full of teenagers again, and Kitty is happy that Forman’s house is now inhabited by a new generation, and Red is, uh… red.
