“Over the last month I have received hundreds of hateful messages and endless harassment related to my account being hacked,” Josh wrote in his statement. “I would like to be stronger, but I can’t take it anymore and I will disconnect from social media forever and check myself into a wellness center to try to somehow control my mental health. I’m going to lose my phone in the next hour. I love you all. For the people who send me death threats, you win.”
Josh recently explained why he waited 18 hours to tell everyone he was actually alive after the alleged hoax.
