Sadly, that’s not the case with Bjorn’s character development, as his indifference towards any of his love interests makes it impossible for fans to root for him. He abused many of his mistresses as well as many of his children, making it difficult for fans to connect with him anymore.
Ragnar .’s drug use
It can be said that every TV series has ravishing moments that make fans bewildered. However, fans generally forgive poor storytelling as long as those moments push the story forward.
But in season four of the History Channel VikingsRagnar’s character falls into a complete drug addiction, a scene that is the complete opposite of the main plot. In fact, it actually did irreparable damage to the character of Ragnar in the eyes of many fans.

The enmity between Ragnar and Rollo always seemed to be at a boiling point. Fans can’t wait until it finally boils down. However, in hindsight, this competition is not the same as competition at all.
Because Ragnar is always the one who holds the power and Rollo is the one who always cherishes the desire to have it. Even in their last match, it never felt like there was a real stake in who would win or lose. Ragnar always wins.
Sex scene above Character development
TV screenwriters have learned that they can hide weak storytelling behind sex scenes. Often, these writers are not respected by fans because of their lazy approach to filling in the gaps that could have been used to develop characters and strengthen the plot.
in previous seasons Vikings, sex scenes are kept to a minimum so that fans can get to know the character they will love. Sadly, from season four on, sex scenes take up more and more of their precious time in each episode.

As the CGI blood grows throughout the film, it goes from being used only in the most meaningful and saddest moments, to appearing in every other scene with no restrictions whatsoever.
