Snyder’s film is very different from Marvel’s, mostly in tone. DC movies don’t have many laughs, and the atmosphere is always more violent and mature, rather than geared toward family audiences. While Whedon’s version does have some solid laughs, seeing Batman go from brooding to more comical is abrupt and takes him away from what Snyder was trying to set up.Marvel has perfected their model, and DC needs to come up with its own brand of superhero content instead of copying competitors Justice League Dramatic editing.
