Ravager and Red Hood become DC’s ultimate anti-heroes in a brand new dark cosplay scene. Both Red Hood and Ravager work as outlaws, but when society collapses on its own, they both stand up and become the world’s perfect heroes.
Red Hood is Jason Todd, a former Robin whose career was cut off by Joker. Years later, Todd will return as the violent vigilante Red Hood who brings brutal and deadly justice to Gotham’s underworld. Although his methods initially put him at odds with his former mentor, he softened his heart by giving up guns and deadly force. The name Ravager has different roles. Like Red Hood, the Marauder begins as another character’s apprentice — in this case, Deathstroke. The current raider is Deathstroke’s daughter, Rose Wilson. Rose, like her father, started out as a villain of the Titans, but eventually rebelled against him and joined the Titans. Red Hood and Ravager have a relationship in common: Both are former apprentices eager to please their mentors, but ultimately fail. Although the two don’t meet in the comics, the cosplay shot by @antisocialpictures is testament to this partnership, reimagining the villain in a dystopian world.
The cosplay shoot was announced on four Instagrams via a post on @antisocialpictures. The first image is of Instagram Reel, simulating Ravager’s hellish future. This story is a closer look, drawing attention to Ravager’s gorgeous new outfit. The second reel features Ravager in a series of terrifying poses, as if she’s ready to strike. The third image is another scroll in which a female Red Hood examines her weapon. The fourth and final photo also features Red Hood, this time wearing a mask and wielding two guns as she prepares to exact violent revenge on backward Gotham City.
Ravager and Red Hood would make a great team
As mentioned, the paths of Ravager and Red Hood never intersect, but in the dark world full of nightmares, it all belongs to Gotham City. @antisocialpictures not only makes for an epic cosplay shoot, but it also gives Ravager and Red Hood a new purpose. This series of cosplay photos makes a compelling case for a humorous collaboration between two violent villains. Both are short-tempered and willing to take risks, making this the perfect team. Alternatively, the two can help each other in their respective matters, namely their relationship with the respective fathers in their lives.
Dark stories in the alternate future like Tomorrow And future state, is the logo of superhero comics. They show what fan-favorite heroes can do when the situation is tough and law and order no longer exists. Ravager and Red Hood patrol the hellish Gotham City in this new cosplay.
