Young Thug Nephew Was Arrested For Allegedly Killing His Girlfriend

Fardereen Deonta Grier, Young Thug’s nephew, was recently arrested at his home in Atlanta for allegedly shooting and killing his girlfriend, Destiny Fitzpatrick. Officers arrived on scene to find Grier crying and Destiny lying in the doorway. According to East Point police spokeswoman Allyn Glover, Grier said during questioning that he was Young Thug’s nephew, although it is unclear why he gave that information. A source later confirmed his story to TMZ. According to East Point police, Grier initially claimed to have fought off two intruders, but then admitted to shooting Fitzpatrick in the face. Prior to the incident, a neighbor reportedly heard the two arguing at Grier’s home.

What information do we have about Young Thug’s siblings?

Young Thug is the tenth of eleven children born in Atlanta. Each of them has two biological fathers. His sister and he are the two youngest siblings. YSL signed the rapper’s brother Unfoonka, who is also a rapper. By April 2021, he appeared on one of the tracks on the Slime Language 2 album, Real. Along with Unfoonk, Thug’s sisters, Dolly White and Dora, are also signed to the record label. Dolly noted earlier that her family grew up in a terrible environment, but despite that, they always looked out for each other. In the house, their mother often played R&B and sang along with Aretha Franklin. Each of the brothers chose a different type of entertainment.

They started to develop their musical talents as they got older. Unfoonk started making raps at the age of 15 at his father’s house. He realized he could do well as a rapper after being pushed by his half-brother. Dolly and Dora then accompanied them to the studio, where they spent a lot of time. Thug rose to fame with the release of his songs Stoner and Lifestyle, however, he has been embroiled in controversy for years due to legal difficulties.
