Dancing Queens, a new reality TV show starring six dancer friends, will premiere on Bravo on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Pooja Mehta, a dancer and makeup artist, is one of the actors. Rookie Bravo, 37, also has his own beauty shop in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Pooja got into a fight with her husband Shimon Himovich during the Dancing Queens trailer, who deemed her dance attire inappropriate. In response, she jokingly asked him if she should wear a “full spacesuit”. In the first season of the new show, the CEO will manage her company as well as pursue her love of dance.

Pooja Mehta got married in a Jewish wedding ceremony.
Pooja Mehta, from Dancing Queens, will be a new face to Bravo audiences. The reality show will talk about her personal and professional life. Pooja, of Scottsdale, Arizona, is of Hindu descent and is married to Shimon Himovich, a diamond dealer. In 2015, the couple got married according to Jewish rites. Dan and Yoavi, their two children, grew up in both Hindu and Jewish traditions.
Pooja’s parents are doctors, but they never pressured her to follow in their footsteps. The Dancing Queens star is a lifelong dancer and is also interested in a career in cosmetology. Therefore, she decided to attend JP Fleurimon, a fashion and beauty school in Paris, France. In 2010, Pooja founded her own Makiaj cosmetics company with over 30 artists. Shimon, her husband, founded Finer Jewelry in 2022, right next to Makijaj. According to her Bravo profile, the actress practically identifies herself as a “rebel” from a family of doctors. It is said that the next contestant on the reality show has a successful business.
It is said that she is not the only dancer in the family and it goes on to say:
“Dancing is a family affair for Pooja, her mother and sister, who all dance with Colette’s former professional partner, Kristjan Burazer.” Once a rhythm champion, she’s just turned to Latin to fight with her family and prove that she can win in their field too.”
Pooja will show her mettle in Dancing Queens as she juggles work and home life.
When does Dancing Queens come out on Bravo?
Dancing Queens premieres on Bravo on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 9:00 p.m. ET. This is not a typical competition program, as the group will practice for the dance championship with their individual dance partners. Regardless of personal problems, women will follow their passions.
According to the official detailed description of the program:
