He didn’t know it, it was actually like getting off a list because he was potentially looking for a new girlfriend and he had this whole list. “He says she has to have a hobby, she has to have some interest, she has to do this and that, and I thought we were having the best conversation ever.”
“We were talking about my book, Neuroscience, and the fact that he could keep up with the conversation was very attractive to me, because you have to have a certain interest and intellect to want to talk about these things. I thought I was boring him,” he shared.
Then after she got home she got a direct message from him, they started talking on Twitter, then he went back to South Africa a second time to visit her and then a third time. She then returned to the United States with him and they got along well and have a lot in common.
