Kishore Das (1991–2022) was an Indian actor, model, dancer and former IT engineer, who predominantly worked in the Assamese entertainment industry. He is known for his work in Assamese TV serials such as Bidhata (2019), Bandhan (2020), and Nedekha Phagun (2021). He died on 2 July 2022 at Apollo Hospitals in Chennai after battling cancer for almost a year.

Death
Kishore Das died at the age of 30 on 2 July 2022 at Apollo Hospital in Chennai. He was suffering from cancer (Stage 4) for almost a year and was undergoing treatment at Health City Hospital in Chennai since March 2021. According to some media reports, he had also contracted COVID-19, due to which his health condition deteriorated and he died. His last rites were performed in Chennai on 2 July. After his untimely death, many popular film, television and political personalities mourned his death. Assamese actress Meghranjani Medhi shared a picture of Das on her Instagram account and captioned,
Gone too soon brother.
In his post, he also mentioned that Kishore was one of the finest actors from his fraternity, who fought till his last breath. He further wrote that Kishor will be one of the brightest stars in the sky and the Assamese entertainment industry will miss him. Atul Bora, a politician from Assam, also took to Twitter to condole the death of the teenager. He tweeted,
Deeply saddened by the untimely demise of popular actor Kishore Das. I went to meet him when he was undergoing treatment in Guwahati. Never thought that he would leave us so soon. I pray to God for the peace of his soul and express my condolences to the bereaved family and friends.
A few weeks before his death, Kishore had shared a picture of himself from the hospital on Instagram. Through the post, he updated his fans about his health. He wrote,
This is my 4th cycle of chemotherapy. You would think that this would be easy but unfortunately, it is not. During these days, I have faced many side effects including fatigue, nausea, dizziness, body weakness, vomiting etc. I also can’t take any other medicine without asking my doctor. You know, the reality is that since the diagnosis of stage 4 colon cancer, and especially during chemotherapy, nothing is ever the same.
