Filming concluded with Williams seeking treatment at an undisclosed facility in April 2023. This was under the supervision of a court-appointed financial guardian. This figure was previously unknown to the public and even to Williams’ family, who also appear in the documentary. Despite these developments, Williams continues to hold the title of executive producer on this project, as part of her three-picture deal with Lifetime.

However, on Thursday, Williams’ court-appointed caregiver, Sabrina Morrissey, was publicly identified. She filed a lawsuit Thursday seeking injunctive relief against Lifetime’s parent company, A+E Networks, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
